Alexis Blose, Chief Financial Officer at GCES, felt a draw towards the financial industry early in her college career. While attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania to earn a BS in accounting, Alexis also worked to develop essential skills in the banking and financial industry. Alexis found that helping people manage their finances was what she was called to do. After college she continued to expand her knowledge base in this field, and during this time she was introduced to Clinton and Galen as customers. She also learned more about them through networking events in the community. After a few years, Alexis was ready to transition into a more prominent and impactful role in the financial industry, and GCES offered Alexis just that. Here she is able to apply critical thinking skills, along with financial astuteness, to the long-term goals of the company. Alexis has grown a true admiration for the way that the GCES team always places the client at the forefront, making the best decisions possible on their behalf. “Not many companies can say that they continue to put their customer base first if it isn’t going to help them hit their bottom line like GCES can,” Alexis comments about the values of the company. Alexis has accepted many responsibilities at GCES from administrative, to financial, and risk management operations. She plays a key role in researching the company’s financial course of action while also aiding in the development of methods to increase revenue while decreasing costs.
Alexis is an only child and was raised in the “Amish Country” of Smicksburg, Pennsylvania. She recently got engaged to her fiancé, George. They are both avid football fans, who are proud members of the Steeler nation! Together they purchased a fixer upper which is perfect because she loves doing home improvement projects! Her family is above everything, and a very special part of her family is her American Bully, Chief. Alexis also truly enjoys giving back to her community, and does so through multiple organizations. She is currently the VP of Indiana Women in Networking, and is the Social Media Chair of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Organization. She feels that if she cannot live at the beach, which is somewhere she loves to be, then she should help make the community she lives in just as special.
